About Us

The Western Reserve Old English Sheepdog Club was formed in the mid-1970's in Northeastern Ohio to advance and protect the interests of the Old English Sheepdog. Our membership includes people active in conformation, agility, obedience and herding as well as breeders and companion owners.

The Club serves as a network and resource center for people to learn more about the Old English Sheepdog so that both owners and dogs will lead better lives. We provide information and guidance on grooming, training and health issues. Our members are very familiar with training and recreational activities for OES and their families in the Ohio and Michigan area.

The focal point of our year is our Specialty show where many of the top Old English Sheepdogs in the country compete for Best of Breed honors. Our membership is open to any person interested in the Old English sheepdog breed and is not restricted by place of residence. We encourage first-time OES owners to join!
